Ford is recalling 2020-22 Escapes, Mavericks, and Corsairs due to a potential fire hazard

Ford is issuing a safety recall for certain vehicles with 2.5-liter HEV/PHEV engines. On Friday, dealerships were informed, and owners will be informed on August 8th, according to Ford. These vehicles' active grille shutters and under-engine shields will be modified by Ford-authorized mechanics to address the problem.
